Applications

Adhesive lined heat shrink tubings are particularly useful for environmental protection, in areas where water and dust are common.  They are also used in applications where you want to make sure the tubing does not move and can be glued in place

What is:

Adhesive lined heat shrink tubings are sometimes referred to as ‘Dual Wall’ tubings because they have an additional layer of glue that coats the inside of the sleeve. When you apply the heat to shrink the tubing, the glue melts and flows at the same time and as the tubing squeezes down, the glue is forced into the gaps to encapsulate the substrate – the end result is a protective insulation sleeve that is locked in place and provides a seal.
